  6. Take 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  7. Provide 1 tsp Oil
  8. You need Rock Salt (Sendha Namak) as per taste
  9. Prepare 2-3 Green Chilies(Hari Mirch) You can increase the quantity if you like very hot Chutney
  10. Get Note: If you are not making this chutney for fasting purpose, then you can use your regular Salt

  1. In a heated pan, add cumin seeds and dry roast the cumin seeds on low to medium flame.
  2. In the same pan add oil and add chopped ginger chopped, green chilies and fry it for a few minutes.
  3. Now add peanuts and fry peanuts for a few seconds on low to medium flame.
  4. Add desicated coconuts and also fry it for a few seconds.
  5. Now add finely chopped tomato and rock salt as per taste, fry tomato until little soft on low to medium flame.
  6. Now allow cooked mixture it to cool.
  7. Add cooked mixture into a grinding jar, also add coriander leaves and lemon juice(optional).
  8. Grind it to make smooth paste like chuntey.
  9. Vrat chutney is ready to serve.
  10. Serve falahari chunety with any fasting dishes like appam, cheela, dosa, dhokla, pakoras.
