- You need 2 1/2 cup mansoor daal
- Provide 2 cups toor daal

- Get 3tbsp sambar masala powder

- Get as per taste Salt
- You need 3 tbsp oil
- Take 1 small piece of ginger chopped
Instructions to make Sambar:
- Soak dal for one hour… Later Boil it in pressure cooker by adding turmeric powder hing salt and 2 ups water… As daal gets cooked smashed it..
- In kadai add oil.. Than add mustard seeds as it splitters than add.. Onions ginger green chillies saute untill soft… Now add all spices than add tomato puree. Cook for 5 minutes…
- Now add sambhar masala let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes
- Now as this tadka is ready pour it into daal… Tham add few curry leaves and let it boil for 5 to 7minutes..add salt if needed… Now in small kadai add oil few mustard seeds pinch red chilli powder and whole red chillies..
- Heat it… Now add this over cooked daal… Cover it with lid let it stay in slow flame for 2 minutes
- As sambhar is ready serve hot and enjoy
