Instructions to make Ameri Khaman:
  1. In a container mix sooji,besan,ginger paste, chilli paste,salt, turmeric & oil. Add water to make a thick paste. Rest for 20 mins
  2. After 20 mins add eno to the mixture and stir well. Grease a flat container and pour the mixture evenly.
  3. Steam for 15 mins. Let the dhokla cool down after steaming.
  4. Cut the dhokla in 4 portions and grate with a grater
  5. In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, sesame seeds,hing, chopped green chillies & curry leaves. Saute lightly then add half cup water and sugar to the kadai.
  6. Add the grated dhokla to the kadai and mix well. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well
  7. Garnishing- Garnish with nylon sev & grated coconut for added taste
  8. Note- For added flavour you can add pomegranate to the dish.
