- Get 1&1/2 teaspoon salt
- Take 2 teaspoons grated coconut
- Get Few curry leaves
- Get 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions to make Dhokla in idli shapes:
- Take a mixing bowl and start preparing Dhokla batter. Pour there gram flour, turmeric powder, ginger and green chilli paste. Add salt, curd and 1/2 Cup water to it and make a batter. The constancy must be thick not too tight and not runny. Keep it for 5 min to rest it.
- In the mean time set a steamer or idli stand grease the mould with some oil and pour 2 and 1/2 Cups of water to it and steam it. - Now dmould it after 20 mins. Then start preparing it's tempering.
- Now place a kadhai on the gas. Pour oil. When the oil start to smoke add mustard seeds, hing, green chilli, stir it. When it start cracks then add water to it. When it's starts boiling add salt, sugar, lemon juice to it. Then turn off the flame.
- Now pour the prepared tadka over the idli Dhokla then garnish it with grated coconut. For better taste cool it or keep it inside the refrigerator for 30 mins then serve.
