  1. Add chopped carrots to a mixer container, add kasmiri red chilli powder,garlic cloves,ginger and little water, grind this to a smooth paste
  2. In a mixing bowl add whisked curd to the sooji. Add salt and mix well without leaving any lumps. Cover this mixture and keep aside for 10 mins
  3. Then divide the mixture into 3 equal portions
  4. Place a cooker on the gas and keep a stand in it. Add little water.
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon eno salt to one portion of sooji mixture. Now grease the container with oil and pour this one portion of mixture in it. Cook this for 7 minutes in the cooker.
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon eno salt to second portion of sooji mixture and also add the carrot paste to it. Add this to the container & cook for another 7 minutes in the cooker.
  7. Add 1/2 teaspoon eno salt to the third portion of sooji mixture and add it to the container & cook for another 7 minutes in the cooker.
  8. After total 21 mins remove the container from the cooker and leave it for resting. In the meantime prepare the tadka
  9. To a small kadai add oil and when it heats enough add mustard seeds,sesame seeds and curry leaves to it. Pour this on the steamed dhokla
  10. Now cut the dhokla and serve hot with chutney / sauce
