  3. Heat oil in a pressure cooker. fry onions chopped, add meat pieces and ginger garlic paste. mix well. then add all the dry masala powder, salt and water. close the lid. pressure cook till 3 whistles. let it cool. then open cook till the gravy is dry (bhuno)
  4. Then add washed nonya saag and mix with the meat. cook for 2 mins. then add the cooked urad dal. mix well add 1cup water to make gravy. close the lid. pressure cook till another 3 whistles on low flame.
  5. Note the whistles i counted is for my pressure cooker. it may differ from the other pressure cookers.
  6. As soon as the steam is out from the cooker. sprinkle some garam masala and serve urad dal nonya saag gosht with chapatis/rice.
