  2. In a pressure cooker, heat 2 tbsp of oil at low flame. Add 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds and let them crackle. Then add asafoetida, onions, stir and sauté them till they become translucent in colour.
  3. Now Add tomatoes, curry leaves and stir them. Add turmeric powder, kitchen king, red chilli powder, garam Masala, coriander powder, black pepper powder. Mix them well.
  4. Now add soaked rice and Stir. Add some water. Add salt as per taste. Mix well. Now cover it and pressure cook them for 2 whistles on medium flame.
  5. When the pressure settles down on it's own. Then remove the lid and gently mix the rice. Serve hot with raita, plain curd or coconut chutney.
