- Provide 600 grams Chicken
- Take 100 grams Curd
- You need 1 large Onion
- Prepare 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- Prepare 1 tbsp Garlic paste

- Take 1 tbsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder

- Get 2 Whole dry Red chillies
- Get 1 Bay leaf
- Use 1/4 inch Cinnamon

Instructions to make Chicken Kosha:
- In a bowl, mix 1 tbsp Salt with the Chicken, rub all the pieces and rinse properly.
- Add Curd(beat yogurt well with a whisk until smooth), Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Green Chilli paste, Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri red Chilli powder, Jeera powder, Garam masala powder, Salt and Oil with the Chicken. Cover it for 2 hours.
- Take a Kadhai(Pan) and heat Oil. Temper with dried red chillies, Bay leaf, Cardamom, Cinnamon, cloves. Then add the thinly sliced onion. Stir and fry the Onion for 6-8 mins. When it turns golden brown in colour add Tomato Sauce and stir continuously.
- Add marinated Chicken in it and stir for 4 mins in medium flame. When bubbles come out then cover the kadhai with a lid and cook it in low flame for 20 mins. (stir occasionally) [I didn't put water here, if your gravy becomes dry out then you may add hot water in this step] Continue cooking until chicken is done and oil separates.
- Serve hot with Plain Rice, Roti or Paratha.
