Drain dal and add in mixie with ginger, green chillies,coriander seeds and fennel seeds and grind to a coarse paste. After grinding add in chopped onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and mix well.

  3. Take a small portion of batter and make flat disc on hand and slowly put in the oil and fry on both sides till golden.keep the flame medium so that it cooks inside. Drain out into a kitchen towel.
